We have a couple of rest days in Moshi at each end of our visit to Tanzania and as we are keen to learn more about our base in Moshi Robin at Adventures Within Reach recommended we visit a local charity called The TunaHAKI Centre for Child Development.

TunaHAKI means we have the right and was founded in 1998 by local artist David Ryatula. It aims to improve the welfare of vulnerable children, whatever their background, by using an arts and performance focus to build confidence and self esteem and to provide a more secure future for its children. You can read more about TunaHAKI at www.tunahakichildren.org.

Acrobatics (25)

We are looking forward to meeting the acrobats, learning more about the centre and its aims and being able to find a good home for our daughter's gymnastics leotards now that she has retired from the sport.
